Updated this week

We bill based on the average net active licenses as of our monthly billing cut-off date, which is the 5th. We understand that this process can sometimes be a bit complicated, so here are some guidelines to clarify things!

When you sign up for Betterteem, your organization agrees to an annual plan and will be billed monthly based on the average number of active licenses as of the billing cut-off date for your enterprise account.

Summary

The billing period runs from the 6th of each month to the 5th of the next one, and the 5th is when everything is cut off. You'll see your bill due and charged to your chosen payment method 10 days after that cut-off date.

For clients who have made specific billing arrangements with Betterteem, billing will follow the terms outlined in their signed Master Service Agreements (MSAs). Our standard payment term is net 30 days.

Activating Services During an Ongoing Billing Period

If you activate Betterteem services in the middle of a running billing period, you will only be charged for the days you used the service within that billing period. The same applies if your organization’s requirements change, where you activate or deactivate licenses for additional team members at any time within a running billing period.

Terminating an Annual Contract

If you terminate your Betterteem subscription within an annual contract that is billed monthly, you will still be responsible for paying the remaining months of your contract term. The termination fee will be calculated based on the average number of active licenses in your enterprise account from Day 1 until the date of termination, multiplied by the remaining months in your contract.
