Anonymity in Betterteem
Updated this week

At Betterteem, we prioritize your privacy and take anonymity very seriously.

General Policy

When you share your thoughts in surveys or feedback, your responses are completely confidential. This means that your name, department, email, or any personal identification numbers are never shared with your managers or employer. For example, if you express your opinion about workplace improvements, rest assured that it will remain anonymous.

For managers to see feedback from a team, at least five active team members need to participate in a survey. This helps protect everyone's identity while ensuring that the feedback is meaningful.

While text responses are automatically anonymous, you do have the option to identify yourself if you wish. However, even if you choose to reveal your identity, a minimum of five team members—regardless of their activity status—must provide feedback so managers can see it.

Managers are able to view feedback only in a general format, organized by week, without any individual identifying information.

Finally, our Terms of Service are designed to protect your identity. These guidelines require everyone using the platform to act responsibly and ethically, ensuring that your anonymity is safeguarded at all times.

How is anonymity preserved in Betterteem?

To maintain the anonymity of our users, responses from all teammates are aggregated and converted into scores. These scores are then presented in Betterteem Insights without any identifying information regarding the individuals who provided them.

Scores reflecting the performance of the entire organization are accessible to all managers, along with benchmark data relevant to their specific industry. However, reports and scores pertaining to individual teams are restricted to the viewing rights of their respective managers.

How does Betterteem handle my data?

All data is securely stored on dedicated servers and safeguarded by stringent rules and protocols. We remain consistently vigilant regarding your privacy when managing customer information.
